Lately I've been getting this strong tingling feeling in my solar plexus chakra.....I'm not too sure what this feeling is but I think my power drive is growing. I've had a lot strange and amazing things happen to me lately, and I've learned a great deal of lessons throughout all of it. Out of all of the chakras to feel like this, it just happens to be the one that honors the life force....I guess all I can say is UNIVERSE, GIVE ME ALL YOU GOT!

A Bit of Art History

Man Ray was an influential artist, best known for his avant-garde photography. He was a leading figure (and the only American) to play a significant role in the Dada and Surrealist movements.

Man Ray first concentrated on painting and later became friends with Dadaist artist Marcel Duchamp, who persuaded him to move to Paris. There, Man Ray moved in highly productive artistic circles full of Surrealists and Dadaists. He began taking photographs of his own (and other people’s) works of art and gradually became more interested in the photographic images than in the originals – which he regularly threw away or lost once he had photographed them.

By this time, commercial and art photography had become his main source of income and he was displaying an unbridled curiosity about the potential of the medium. This prompted a great urge to experiment and the discovery or rediscovery of various techniques, such as the famous "rayographs" (photograms made without the use of a camera). Man Ray left Paris to escape the Nazi occupation of France and moved to Los Angeles, where he abandoned commercial photography to concentrate entirely on painting and photographic experimentation. However, his next real surge of creativity occurred only after he returned to Paris; and much later died in 1976.

Had an unexpected day off a bit ago. Was told to go home even without any PTO.......the only trouble was I had no home to go to at the time! I stopped at the Morning Glory Cafe for a berry smoothie and this delicious treat! Tofu.Transparent Noodles.Spinach.Red Cabbage.Carrots.Red Peppers

My throat was bothering me today.......hope I'm not catching what Ben had. Taking it easy today. It feels good to be doing a bit of relaxing with some good music, a nice big bowl of creamy tomato soup, a bit of reading & frequent cat naps.

Just bought this book the other day.

Can't wait to make this Rhubarb wine! It's not a true wine because it calls for brandy in the recipe, but I'm not picky. It sounds delicious + it will alter your mind & that's really all I'm looking for, and besides, it's Rhubarb season!

Had sold some old books of mine that I no longer read nor have any use for..........& got this photo given back to me. I must have used it 4 a bookmark a while back. I look like one of those poor unfortunate children living in a third world country you see on TV that need "your" help. So, would you adopt me? By what's shown in the picture, it looks like I'm quite the hard worker. [WILL WORK FOR FOOD]

A yummy snack. Boiled egg + tomato atop of wheat toast......with a bit of Italian dressing drizzled on top. mmmmmmm 

At my job I work with an autistic gentleman who does amazing artwork. He makes beaded jewelry, paints//draws, a bit of ceramics + weaving. Right now his latest project that I have been helping him work on are woven bags. Real "folk art" I think........ Beautiful work created by a beautiful man.

Reunited & it feels so good

So in the course of about 2 or 3 weeks, my laptop has broken twice, I've moved, and had needed some time to myself to do a bit of soul searching.........I've been here//there//&everywhere lately and never thought I would say it but I have been going crazy not being able to blog! But I am back, and I have plenty to post so u betta LOOK OUT!
