3ARRINGZ

Just finished these earrings the other day - very delicate but beautiful shape. Will have more jewelry soon. I've been wanting my friend Kristen 2 take some better photos of my pieces, but we both haven't had a free moment because we've been busy bees looking for a new home to move in to. Nonetheless still expect some mediocre shots of my latest pieces now and then............................................

MMMF!!!!!!

[[[So I filled out an application to volunteer at the McDowell Mountain Music Festival a while back]]]
When checking my email today, this is what was sent to me:

Thanks for volunteering for the McDowell Mountain Music Festival.

We will email your shift assignment next week.

Should be a great weekend of music!

MMMF exists to integrate and support the community, the arts and the underprivileged. MMMF also uses 100%, of what is raised from the Festival to donate to two charities – Phoenix Day Family & Learning Center and Ear Candy.

Can't Wait!

The Universal Why?

If you haven’t heard, Radiohead will be distributing a free newspaper at 61 locations worldwide to promote the physical release of " The King of Limbs" which comes out on Monday everywhere except the U.S. and Canada, which must wait until Tuesday. The band has worked with long time collaborator and artist, Stanley Donwood, [ Hail to the Thief album art ] to produce a complete undigital ink-and-paper handout called The Universal Sigh. Apparently, Radiohead have been giving them out free of charge (?) Personally, I want to know more about this game that Radiohead is starting. Unfortunately I'm not sure if I'll ever get my hands on a paper but there was a copy on eBay with an interesting note in the auction description, mentioning that you receive a unique code with the newspaper. What you can do with that code remains a mystery. I'm thinking that it could unlock more songs//content from a website. Perhaps the missing//second half of "The King of Limbs that has been rumored ever since the album was released...................maybe. I enjoy the fun & games put into this album, but to be honest I'm a little worried about all the hype & excitement that is being put into promoting the album and maybe not enough on the music itself. Bc so far KOL has some great songs but overall I'd say is was ok.........woah, that was a bit sinful. Who knows >> fingers crossed.

Was making a salad this evening and found out there was a prize at the bottom of my head of lettuce. Better than anything you would find in a Cracker Jack box....................

Beautiful shapes  <<<>>>  Beauty everywhere.

Cooking is just one way that I practice karma yoga. I also do some housekeeping, dish washing, and other maintenance. I use to do a bit of gardening, and I also try to volunteer whenever I have the time. The word "karma" is derived from the Sanskrit kri, meaning "to do".  In its most basic sense "karma" means action, and "yoga" translates to union. Karma yoga is described as a way of acting & thinking by which one adjusts themselves toward a sense of realization by acting in harmony with one's job//duty without the consideration of self-centered desires, likes or dislikes. I enjoy cooking but rarely boast about my skills in the kitchen. I try to take pictures of some meals that I "whipped up" that turned out well so I can remember how to do them again...........now if that is considered "bad karma" than in the same argument you could also say that volunteering is selfish in some way >> if you enjoy helping others because in return it makes you feel good//happy than that is also a form of a personal self-centered desire.

Something to ponder. Either way, I plan on doing what makes me feel good.

Moon.

Saturday's full moon had been called a "supermoon" because the moon had been closer to us than it has been in the last 18 years, making it appear unusually larger in the night sky. I had traveled with some friends last weekend to go camping; for the celebration of the "extreme" moon, somewhere in southern Utah. It was a magical place. The moon had illuminated the entire area, making the night appear as new day. The night was without a doubt a surreal experience - and that moon................madly great. She truly had a hold on me that night. I felt as helpless as a moth to a flame.

Although the moon wasn't as "extreme" as most people had claimed, it was still a special night. It had been a memorable weekend for many reasons. One reason being the beautiful gift that MOTHER EARTH had given me:

Great chunk of petrified wood.

crystallization on the bark..............................nice.

11395 RIP

I have a good friend who is an amazing photographer. We had both taken a trip to Nevada for my birthday and had visited Valley of Fire. It's a beautiful sea of canyons with an immense amount of spiritual energy that flows through the area. Truly an experience. Kristen will be having a show in Taos very soon.............can't wait for the road trip!

... didn't even realize she had taken a picture of me, I was so hypnotized by the majestic view!

B3AUTIFUL CRYSTALZ

Still have some crystals around the house from when I went digging for crystals in Arkansas. It's by far the most plentiful area in the U.S. for White Quartz. Thinking of making some necklaces............................anyone who is wanting to amplify their psychic powers or communicate with the divine mother//spirits [email me!]
